Too bad they don't come with a Dutch-style parking lot...

Sarah Ripplinger chatted with us about our shop for a feature in this month’s issue of Momentum Magazine, the 2012 Gear Guide! Check out the spread here.

The issue covered one of our favorite topics: lifestyle biking accessories! A number of our products were featured including clothing by one of our favorite bicycle fashion designers Nona Varnado and bags by Chicago-based Po Campo.

Also featured, our good friends Jason Van Horn from Betabrand donning his reversible smoking jacket (p.101) and Robynn Takayama from the SF Arts Commission standing with her lovely Soma Buena Vista (p. 57) -- possibly the first bike we ever sold!
You can pick up a print copy of Momentum Magazine at the shop.

"Now we have Sixth and Market streets makeover 2.0. While it is always risky to predict that things are turning around - how many stories like that have we done? - there is one critical factor that has been missing until now: customers."

One of our customers recently demonstrated how to properly use Salsa's expedition touring bike, the Fargo. The picture pretty much tells the story. There is a whole lotta gear on this bike, but do you see a single rack? A HUGE saddle bag, tent poles stuck in the triangle, and attached to the fork blades are, ok, racks of a sort: Salsa's Anything Racks -- great for dry packs, large water bottles, just about anything indeed. Thanks for the photo Andrew.
For those of you looking to do some bike camping, we stock the Fargo 2 with Sram Apex for $1699.
