For Dissident 2, we collaborated with powerhouse athletes, Loïc Bruni and Finn Iles, to design a helmet that would meet the highest demands of downhill mountain bike racing, in terms of confidence, a modern-styled fit, and breathability.
With five strategically placed EPS foam inserts, we’re able to tune for higher and lower density foam based on where it is being configured inside the helmet—allowing us to maintain a light weight and still manage energy. The use of a softer foam density allows more energy to be absorbed in an impact, transferring less to the rider. Dissident 2 also provides added confidence through its Mips Evolve Solution—that helps to redirect rotational movement away from the head. In this Evolve Solution, we utilized fabric pocket attachments inside, reducing creakiness.
Remaining cool is more than a state of mind, and it’s hard to keep your composure when things get hot—specially when your head feels like its in a sauna. That’s why instead of focusing on more vents, we focused on better vents. Built from the inside out, the Dissident 2 ventilation system features a hood scoop to channel a flow of cool air in, and purpose-placed vents that direct the warm air out—letting your head stay cool and comfortable in any situation.
Keeping this helmet light was of high importance. In a race context, feeling light and mobile leads to faster reactions, and reduced fatigue between the tape. With the EPS foam insert construction, the helmet remains very light while still offering big protection. While we can’t speculate on everything that was going through Finn Iles’ head during his 2022 winning run at Mont-Sainte-Anne—we know what he wasn’t thinking about… Whether you’re taking the stage to drop in on your first winning World Cup run, or chasing your own championship on the local enduro series, Dissident 2 has you covered.
For helmets sold in the U.S. and Canada: Complies with U.S. CPSC Safety Standard for Bicycle Helmets for Persons Age 5 and Older.

I was so thankful to be able to get my bike through Huckleberry, and the experience was great. This was the only place I could find with the specific bike I wanted, and the ordering and delivery process to MN went very smoothly! Thanks team! Oh, and this bike is SO FUN and I love it. Great to be able to turn up the assist to ride with my speedier friends, and turn it down to ride alone and still get a good workout (when I want it :)!
Very happy with my Brompton G-Line.
Had issues with shifting after delivery but the staff took care of it.
Friendly and professional.
Great bike love it
Awesome experience! Called and talked to someone about buy a surly grappler they had on sale . Bought and received in 4 days . Bike is perfect ! Love the grappler
Great effort to build me the bike I wanted even though not available in my size.
Sometimes when ordering this blind, like a bike for instance, you really are throwing caution to the wind. It is sometimes a real gamble. I bought this bike under the advice of a kind and "actual person" who guided me through the process. I am admittedly a jackass and need help sometimes. I did pray that I would get an actual bike in the mail and that it would be the one pictured and new. The bike (a Kona Rove) showed up in perfect shape, dialed and ready to go with minimal assembly. I can't thank these guys enough and if I ever get out to San Fran I"m going to give them a hug. Seriously, if had a reservation about buying a bike (or anything for that matter) from this shop, even online, be easy and know that you are buying from real folks who are cool.

At just 240 grams, these tires were the perfect choice for the short but punchy @mountaingamesvail Uphill Road Climb.
Works well
I am an avid road cyclist with some triathlons and mountain biking thrown in. I have always wanted a Brompton from the first time I read about them decades ago. We were headed to Taos and I was going to be on my own and figured this was a great trip to get the bike. However, I did not have much time and there are none to be found in Dallas / Fort Worth. Huckleberry Bikes to the rescue. They helped me decide on the size and the gearing. At 6'-1", I went with the medium size looking for something other than sitting straight up and also got the telescoping seat post. They were right, with something like a 15+cm drop to the bars and no reach to speak of, that would have been overly aggressive for tooling around the city. Also settled on the 4 speed. I was not sure that I wanted to be dealing with the cassette and hub at the same time and did not want to maintain both. Looking at the gear inches chart, it seemed like I was always going to find myself between hub gears so 4 speed was the answer. So I have been all over Taos for two days. Museums, coffee shops, restaurants, etc. Several compliments on the bike and it has been a real joy. There are some inclines here and some head wind but the low gear is fine with me. If I were to be in a location with more hills, I figure I could just swap out the chain ring for the 44. But it would need to be hilly. I find myself hitting 20mph often with slight declines, tail winds etc. This pretty much maxes out the top gear. So going down to a 44 would mean a lot of coasting. So bottom line, it is everything that I imagined and .... what are you waiting for ... go and get yourself a Brompton from Huckleberry Bikes!
I'm glad I decided to buy my Brompton from Huckleberry Bikes. Nathan helped me with a demo of folding and unfolding. He also offered great tips for folding sequence and changing gears. What really helped was the time their staff gave for me to test ride a couple of Brompton bikes to help me decide which fit me best.
I’ve got one of the smaller klean kanteen’s from 2010 and this fits it perfectly. Absolutely no rattling. Really well made and 100% satisfied with this :)
I must confess I am not a bike person. I enjoy them, but know nothing about brands, technology, or gear. But back in 2020, I bought a C Line Brompton in green for a family vacation in New Orleans (we drove there). And what a bike that was. Nimble, practical, and beautiful. I ended up returning it once I started venturing into gravel paths and bought a hybrid instead, which made sense from a rational perspective but not from an emotional one. Once you use a Brompton, it stays with you. I knew that sooner or later I would cross paths with it again, and here we are, looking for two bikes that are easy to put in the trunk of the car and get my teenage daughter and me some riding time together.
Super happy with my bike and the help from the shop. Looking forward to more shopping and biking!
I ordered a Brompton for my commute. The bike is awesome as was the experience with Huckleberry. Thanks guys!
Everything's easy and arrival time is faster than I expected.
