In keeping with its commitment to innovation, ORTLIEB has just introduced another PVC-free line of products made of a polyurethane-coated polyester fabric. The base fabric of the products in the Free Line is coated with polyurethane in a manner that ensures lasting waterproof qualities. The result is a waterproof and durable canvas material that is as outstanding as the conventional ORTLIEB canvas material when it comes to durability and service life. The products in the Free Line are available in classic black and two other appealing colors.
The PVC-free version of the proven ORTLIEB Back-Roller was developed for cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts who would like to avoid PVC entirely. This rear pannier bag with a roll closure offers ultimate practicality for all of your bike tours and weekly grocery-shopping ventures, especially on account of its generous payload. Thanks to its waterproof exterior, easy-to-clean interior and shoulder-bag function, the Back-Roller Free is ideal for all who would like to use their bikes despite having things to carry. With the Quick-Lock2.1 system, the bags attach to any bike rack with a tube diameter of up to 16 mm. Larger hooks (e.g. for e-bikes) are available separately.

At just 240 grams, these tires were the perfect choice for the short but punchy @mountaingamesvail Uphill Road Climb.
I am an avid road cyclist with some triathlons and mountain biking thrown in. I have always wanted a Brompton from the first time I read about them decades ago. We were headed to Taos and I was going to be on my own and figured this was a great trip to get the bike. However, I did not have much time and there are none to be found in Dallas / Fort Worth. Huckleberry Bikes to the rescue. They helped me decide on the size and the gearing. At 6'-1", I went with the medium size looking for something other than sitting straight up and also got the telescoping seat post. They were right, with something like a 15+cm drop to the bars and no reach to speak of, that would have been overly aggressive for tooling around the city. Also settled on the 4 speed. I was not sure that I wanted to be dealing with the cassette and hub at the same time and did not want to maintain both. Looking at the gear inches chart, it seemed like I was always going to find myself between hub gears so 4 speed was the answer. So I have been all over Taos for two days. Museums, coffee shops, restaurants, etc. Several compliments on the bike and it has been a real joy. There are some inclines here and some head wind but the low gear is fine with me. If I were to be in a location with more hills, I figure I could just swap out the chain ring for the 44. But it would need to be hilly. I find myself hitting 20mph often with slight declines, tail winds etc. This pretty much maxes out the top gear. So going down to a 44 would mean a lot of coasting. So bottom line, it is everything that I imagined and .... what are you waiting for ... go and get yourself a Brompton from Huckleberry Bikes!
I'm glad I decided to buy my Brompton from Huckleberry Bikes. Nathan helped me with a demo of folding and unfolding. He also offered great tips for folding sequence and changing gears. What really helped was the time their staff gave for me to test ride a couple of Brompton bikes to help me decide which fit me best.
I’ve got one of the smaller klean kanteen’s from 2010 and this fits it perfectly. Absolutely no rattling. Really well made and 100% satisfied with this :)
I must confess I am not a bike person. I enjoy them, but know nothing about brands, technology, or gear. But back in 2020, I bought a C Line Brompton in green for a family vacation in New Orleans (we drove there). And what a bike that was. Nimble, practical, and beautiful. I ended up returning it once I started venturing into gravel paths and bought a hybrid instead, which made sense from a rational perspective but not from an emotional one. Once you use a Brompton, it stays with you. I knew that sooner or later I would cross paths with it again, and here we are, looking for two bikes that are easy to put in the trunk of the car and get my teenage daughter and me some riding time together.
Super happy with my bike and the help from the shop. Looking forward to more shopping and biking!
I ordered a Brompton for my commute. The bike is awesome as was the experience with Huckleberry. Thanks guys!
Everything's easy and arrival time is faster than I expected.
Really comfy geo, not too short or too long. In spite of its weight, you dont feel it while actually riding. Super snappy handling, one hell of a fun bike.
Great price on older model, clear communication with condition and fast shipping. Bike was properly tuned before shipping. No complaints great company to work with
Jonas went out of his way to secure and ship this case to , and overcome a few unexpected challenges. The case arrived in a timely manner. Great service . Huckleberry are a bike shop that believes in excelling in the service and products they provide. Highly recommended. I used the case to fly with my Brompton G. The case is solid, has 4 wheels so easy to move around the airport.
